IELTS Preparation

'International English Language Testing System' (IELTS) is a test of English language proficiency. It is jointly managed by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, British Council and IDP Education Australia. Berlitz Manchester is offering IELTS preparation in Manchester to prepare you to take the IELTS test. Once you have completed your IELTS preparation with us and passed the IELTS test you will be able to register your IELTS score for entry into a British university.

The IELTS preparation tests your ability to listen, read, write and speak in English. The first three modules of the IELTS test must be completed in one day. The speaking module may be taken within seven days however this depends upon the IELTS test centre.

Many international students have used our IELTS preparation course in Manchester to get the grades they require to attend a British University. Typically most British Universities require an IELTS score of between 7.00 and 5.50.

All IELTS preparation courses run three days a week from Tuesday to Thursday.

IELTS preparation group sizes are a minimum of 4 and maximum of 10 students. IELTS preparation can be taken as 1/2 day or private instruction over a time period to suit your needs. These are tailored to meet your study objectives. All courses take place in our classrooms at Manchester.
