Business English Pathway

The Business English Pathway develops the skills needed to communicate effectively in English in a professional context.
This programme will develop a wide range of Business English skills covering areas as diverse as formal report-writing topics, presentation skills and sales negotiation skills.
5 hours per week (2 afternoons)
Maximum 14 people
Pathway module ( 5 hours per week) Any Monday (except bank holidays)
Group classes (15 or 20 hours per week) – 1st week of January. April, July, October ; subject to minimum group size of 4
Minimum 2 weeks
18 years +
Students who wish to develop their business English knowledge whilst continuing to improve their General English
Lesson content includes specific business vocabulary and skills, as well as speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. The programme is designed to develop strong communication skills and uses role-plays and case examples to provide real-world learning contexts. Students also have the option to prepare for and take a Cambridge Business English Certificate (BEC).
Minimum Entry Level for this programme is Intermediate (B1).
Our Business English syllabus has been carefully designed to ensure students make maximum progress. A range of Business English course books, along with supplementary activities and authentic materials such as business documents, are used to ensure that students benefit from a variety of quality study materials.
