Year Round Groups & Mini-Stays
Berlitz Manchester offer Year- Round English plus Activity programmes & Mini-Stays for closed groups at Rossall School. These programmes provide an integrated English plus Sports & Cultural Activities programme and include English tuition, full-board accommodation plus a full programme of day-time, evening activities and sight-seeing excursions. Where a group has a special educational requirement, these can be organised if booked in advance.
English Tuition
Courses provide 15 or 20 hours of language tuition per week. All our teachers are qualified and the tuition programmes focus on active language skills, especially fluency (speaking and listening), vocabulary extension, grammar and project work.
All students are tested on their level of English on arrival and placed in the appropriate level and age group in each class. Reports and certificates are issued at the end of the course. Classes will usually contain a maximum of 15 students.
Activity Programme
Students can choose from our full range of activities including horse-riding, tennis, golf, basketball and watersports and Manchester United Soccer Schools programme.
Excursions & Sightseeing
We offer a range of half-day and full -day excursions which have been carefully selected and planned by our team. Typical excursions include visits to the beautiful Lake District and historic town of Chester; in addition to visits to fun locations such as Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Alton Towers.

- First-day placement test
- English language programme 15 hours per week or 20 hours per week
- Full-board residential accommodation including 3 meals per day
- Sport and Cultural activities programme 4 days a week.
- Fully supervised activities every afternoon and evening
- Two excursions per week:- 1 full day (Saturday), 1 half day (Wednesday)
