English for Cabin Crew

This course is for people preparing for a career as a cabin crew member or for those already working in the industry, and aims to develop flight attendants’ oral proficiency skills for routine and non-routine situations.
The course will equip students with the necessary communication skills to carry out pre and in-flight duties and to deal effectively with co-flight attendants, pilots and passengers. Throughout the lessons we aim to improve fluency in spoken English and pronunciation, build key vocabulary, expressions and relevant aviation phraseology, and develop listening, comprehension, and interaction skills.

Flight attendants who wish to improve their English language skills
Standard (15 hours a week), Intensive (20 hours a week) or Super-intensive (25 hours a week). This programme is also available as a pathway module and can be combined with General English or IELTS preparation.
Course content includes areas such as:
• Pre-flight briefing
• Food and drink
• Minor passenger problems
• In-flight emergencies
• Preparing for landing
Students require a minimum General English level of B1.
Our English for Cabin Crew syllabus has been carefully designed and structured to ensure students make maximum progress throughout their course. A range of specific Cabin Crew course books are used over the programme, along with additional material to ensure that students develop their language skills and reach the required standard.
