Our Berlitz Virtual Classroom solutions offer the latest technology coupled with the world-renowned Berlitz method to help you to achieve your Learning goals from the comfort of your home or office.

Our online classes have been developed to help you improve your English without having to travel to us. Programmes are teacher-led; allowing students to participate in communicative activities with other students via our online videoconferencing.

At Berlitz, we use the latest Zoom- technology and incorporate the original, communicative approach of the Berlitz method to provide a fun and effective learning experience for you. Zoom has advanced capabilities and is the perfect platform for online learning. There is an interactive whiteboard, document sharing, online messenger and video chat, to allow students to have a completely interactive lesson with a Berlitz teacher in real-time.

Berlitz offers a range of programmes to suit your needs. Current programmes are highlighted below:

PROGRAMME	DESCRIPTION
GENERAL ENGLISH	Ideal for students looking to increase their overall English language skills.   The programme is designed to develop all skill areas; speaking, listening, reading and writing.  As such, It is the perfect platform for you to develop a strong foundation in English language before specialising in an English Pathway progression.
IELTS MASTERCLASS	IELTS Masterclass is designed to ensure that you achieve your desired IELTS score as quickly and effectively as possible. Throughout the learning process, we measure you progress clearly and visibly to highlight strengths, needs and objectives.
PRE-SESSIONAL ACADEMIC ENGLISH	The course aims to develop Academic English skills required for graduate and Post-Graduate study in UK. A special emphasis is placed on academic writing and listening skills; in addition to presentation and seminar skills.
HI-INTENSITY ENGLISH MINI -SESSIONS	A ’90 minute work-out’ ideal for students looking to develop their English skills in short, intensive sessions throughout the week.  The programme covers all skill areas and focuses on developing strong communication skills.

 

BERLITZ INDIVIDUALISED LEARNING

At Berlitz, our learning is goal-orientated and individualized to ensure that you get the most from your programme.  The key elements include:

• Assessment & Individual Learning Plans
  Each student undergoes a comprehensive assessment at the beginning of their programme to assess their current strengths and weaknesses and create their own personal Individual Learning Plan (ILP).
• Weekly Tests
  Review tests are a great way to highlight areas of study that need more attention and to ensure each student is fully competent in using them.
• Monthly Tutorials
  Monthly one2one tutorials are provided to ensure that students every students are supported during their Learner-journey and that progress is discussed and appropriate actions agreed.
• Berlitz Level Tests
  We simulate exam conditions as much as possible in class during the weekly tests, but we also encourage our students to take at least two mark formal tests. This is an excellent way for students to familiarise themselves with exam conditions.
• Monthly Progress Reports
  Our teachers write progress reports each month for our students with grades and comments for each skill. This is an excellent formal method for constructive feedback and direction.
