Our General English courses aim to improve every aspect of your English so that you can communicate effectively with speakers from all over the world.
Our approach is to provide a stimulating, fun and interactive environment in which you can develop your language skills. Lesson content concentrates on speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, as well as grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Every week you will work on developing and improving all language skill areas, with a focus on active communication in real life situations; in addition, you will be given regular homework and weekly tests to check your progress.
Our Berlitz Intensive English course incorporates 15 hours in the morning and 2 afternoon sessions (5 hours) totalling 20 hours per week. The afternoon session allow you to build on language from the AM sessions by choosing ‘Skills’ classes with an emphasis on functional language/pronunciation/writing/authentic listening/speaking; alternatively , you can choose electives in, for example, areas such as Business English or Cambridge Exam prepa
