General English

Our General English courses aim to improve every aspect of your English so that you can communicate effectively with speakers from across the globe. Our approach is to provide a stimulating and highly interactive environment in which you can develop your language skills.

Lesson content concentrates on speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, as well as grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Every week you will work on developing and improving all language skill areas, with a focus on active communication in real life situations. You will also be given regular homework and weekly tests to check your progress.

Class levels range from complete beginner (A1) to proficiency (C2) and you will have a placement test on your first day to find the right level for you.

All General English syllabuses have been carefully-designed and structured to ensure students make maximum progress throughout their course. A range of course books are used over the programme, which have been carefully-selected to ensure that students benefit from a range of quality study material. We also ensure to include special activity material and authentic materials such as news articles in order to further develop students’ language skills.
